Tien Ping Hsiang is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at University of Macau. She obtained her PhD degree in Education at Taiwan Normal University in 2006. She was a visiting scholar in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University in the fall of 2016. Dr. Hsiang enjoys writing and she has won many writing completion awards since she was a little girl. She loves to teach children and won several awards for teaching and learning assessment when she was a primary school teacher. Her research interests include writing, writing instruction, the teaching of Chinese language, and textbook analysis. Her publications have appeared in Reading Research Quarterly [SSCI], Reading and Writing: An Interdisciplinary Journal [SSCI], Elementary School Journal [SSCI], and Technology, and Knowledge and Learning [ESCI].
